Rose’s Youth Philanthropists

RYP Target.jpg

Rose’s Youth Philanthropists (RYP) is a regional youth grants committee requesting proposals from organizations that impact youth in a wide variety of fields in Chemung and Southeastern Steuben counties. The S. Roberts Rose Fund was established at the Community Foundation of the Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes in order to give youth a voice at the grantmaking table. RYP offers grants of $200-$2000 to local youth-serving organizations.

Students: Join the Committee
The Rose’s Youth Philanthropists committee, comprised of two students from seven area high schools, meets the first Sunday of each month to evaluate previous grant awards, develop and distribute Request for Proposals and award grants. To apply to be part of the committee you must be a high school student.
