Celebrate the Community Foundation's 45th Anniversary!
The Corning Community Foundation was established in 1972 shortly after Hurricane Agnes hit the Southern Tier. A little over ten years later, the Chemung County Area Community Foundation was born. The two organizations officially merged later in 1993 establishing the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes.
Currently, the foundation holds $45 million in assets granting annual awards totaling $1.5 million - a majority of which remains here in the Southern Finger Lakes region promoting solutions that address our community’s greatest needs and serve the common good.
Join us as we celebrate 45 years of philanthropy in our region at the
Community Foundation's Anniversary Gala Dinner.
