Administering scholarship funds is an important part of our work at The Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes. We award scholarships from funds established by local individuals, families and companies for educational grants so that deserving neighbors in our community can attend college or acquire additional skills for their jobs.
Unless otherwise noted, only applications postmarked by February 8, 2010 and sent by mail will be considered. Application forms may be reproduced. If the application requires a copy of a tax return you may submit the 2008 return since parents 2009 returns may not yet be completed.

Please note that our scholarships are available to those that live in upstate New York or northern Pennsylvania as described in each scholarship description. Most scholarships are available to high school seniors only. Those that are available for adults will state it in the description.
